Baseball Recap: ThunderRidge Comes Up Short

ThunderRidge made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Ralston Valley, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 7-5 on Tuesday. The Grizzlies haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Shane Christy was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Colton Lien also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

ThunderRidge now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Ralston Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 4-5.

ThunderRidge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-6 victory against Valor Christian on the 10th. As for Ralston Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 14-3 win against Bear Creek on the 10th.
