Skutt Catholic faced Papillion-LaVista South in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The SkyHawks came out on top against the Titans by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the SkyHawks.

Skutt Catholic never let Papillion-LaVista South on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23.

Addison West paced Skutt Catholic's offense, picking up nine kills. West got some help from Maggie McMahon and her 14 assists. Avery White controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Skutt Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Papillion-LaVista South, their loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 21-6.

Coincidentally, Skutt Catholic and Papillion-LaVista South will both be playing Harrisburg the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Tigers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the SkyHawks will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
