Seminole is 9-1 against DeLand since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Seminole Seminoles will square off against the DeLand Bulldogs. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Seminole took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed two weeks ago. They secured a 65-60 W over Lake Howell.

Meanwhile, DeLand had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat University 62-24. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

DeLand pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points per game. As for Seminole, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Seminole was able to grind out a solid victory over DeLand when the teams last played back in January, winning 55-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Seminole since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
