Softball Recap: Millburn Takes a Loss

Millburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 10-5 to the Belleville Buccaneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-5 on Tuesday.

Millburn's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Belleville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Millburn wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-2 loss against Montclair Kimberley Academy on the 1st. As for Belleville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 defeat against Cedar Grove on the 2nd.
