Basketball Recap: East Carter Takes a Loss

East Carter was the 42-38 winner over Elliott County when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The East Carter Raiders took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elliott County Lions on Saturday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Carter's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Elliott County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-6.

Looking ahead, East Carter will take on Russell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elliott County, they will be playing at home against Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
