Volleyball Game Preview: Bogue Chitto Bobcats vs. Lawrence County Cougars

The Bogue Chitto Bobcats will head out on the road to challenge the Lawrence County Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bogue Chitto lost 3-0 to Amite County on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15, 25-14.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lawrence County took on Salem on Monday. The Cougars fell 3-1 to the Wildcats. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lawrence County started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-13, 25-17, 25-19.

Despite the defeat, Lawrence County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kylee McLeod had 19 digs.

Lawrence County's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Bogue Chitto, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Bogue Chitto suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Lawrence County when the teams last played back in August. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
