Soccer Game Preview: Garces Memorial vs. Frontier

The Garces Memorial Rams will challenge the Frontier Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Garces Memorial's offense. They lost 4-0 to Stockdale on Thursday. The Rams have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Frontier was not quite Liberty's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 763rd, while the Patriots are ranked 123rd).

Frontier has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10-5 record this season. As for Garces Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 6-10-5.
