Football Recap: Childersburg Tigers vs. Beulah Bobcats
Childersburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Beulah Bobcats, falling 48-8. The Tigers lost against the Bobcats in their previous head to head back in October of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 26-16 score last time.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beulah to victory, but perhaps none more so than Khamoni Lindsey, who rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Jojo Wilson, who rushed for 158 yards on only five carries.
Childersburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Beulah, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Randolph County the next time they take the field. Childersburg will host Randolph County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Beulah will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
