Recap: Larned Indians vs. St. John Tigers
The Larned Indians were the 58-45 winner over the St. John Tigers when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Larned took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. John on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that Larned has lost by exactly seven points.
St. John's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Quade smith, who scored 16 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which smith has scored at least 25% of St. John's points. Another player making a difference was Aden Adame, who scored 13 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Larned and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for St. John, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Larned and Great Bend will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Great Bend has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 202 points over their last three matches. St. John will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Kiowa County at 8:00 p.m. on December 15th.
