Volleyball Game Preview: Freeport Pretzels vs. Guilford Vikings

The Freeport Pretzels are taking a road trip to square off against the Guilford Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Freeport has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with six straight losses, while Guilford will come in with three straight wins.

On Tuesday, Freeport came up short against Harlem and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Guilford was able to grind out a solid victory over Jefferson on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Guilford was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12.

Freeport's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Guilford, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.

Freeport couldn't quite get it done against Guilford when the teams last played last Wednesday as they fell 2-0. Can the Pretzels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
