The Big Foot Chiefs will challenge the Parkview Vikings at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Big Foot is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.9  runs per game  this season.
On Thursday, Big Foot made easy work of East Troy  and carried off  a  10-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Chiefs, who have now won four games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Holly Kynell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Lily Wolf was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Natalie Klamm, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 4-for-4.
 Big Foot  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
 Meanwhile, Parkview fell victim to Deerfield and their airtight pitching crew  on Tuesday. They lost  17-0 to the Demons. The Vikings have struggled against the Demons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.
Big Foot is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Parkview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
 Everything went Big Foot's way against Parkview in their previous meeting  back in March of 2024, as Big Foot made off with  a  16-0 win. Will the Chiefs repeat their success,  or do  the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
