Basketball Recap: First Baptist Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Caleb Lindsay and Jon Anaya

First Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 25-19 heartbreaker at the hands of the Des Moines HomeSchool W Warriors. The match marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

First Baptist's loss came despite strong showings from Jon Anaya and Caleb Lindsay. Anaya posted seven points, while Lindsay earned six points. Anaya is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played.

First Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Des Moines HomeSchool W, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

First Baptist wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 40-27 win against Varsity Opponent on the 30th. As for Des Moines HomeSchool W, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-47 loss against Omaha R on the 1st.
