Basketball Recap: Monarch Takes a Loss

After flying high against Borrego Springs on Tuesday, Monarch came back down to earth. The Royals fell 49-41 to the Southern California Yeshiva Hawks on Thursday. The Royals haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Monarch's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Southern California Yeshiva, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Monarch will take on Warner in a tournament on Saturday. As for Southern California Yeshiva, they will take on Cristo Rey at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
