There's no place like home for Higley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Mesquite Wildcats on Monday as they made off with a 13-5 victory. The Knights not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21st (when they won 16-1).

Skylar Jones made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits. Jones was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Higley let Samantha Parisi and Zoie Van Hoek run wild. Parisi got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs, while Van Hoek went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Parisi has posted over her last 12 contests.
