Softball Recap: Samuell Spartans vs. Seagoville Dragons

Samuell can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 14-4 margin over the Seagoville Dragons. The high-scoring effort was just what Samuell needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

Kayla Clemmons made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits. Clemmons was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with a home run, a stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Destiny Rios was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing nine bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jayla Jaime, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-3.
