Volleyball Recap: Goleman Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Goleman, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Ransom Everglades Raiders on Wednesday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Goleman was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-8.

Roman Garcia paced Goleman's offense, picking up eight kills. Garcia got some help from Carlos Delgado and his 17 assists. Branley Borrego controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Goleman has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. Ransom Everglades is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Goleman will take on Reagan in a tournament on Friday. Reagan will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Goleman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ransom Everglades, they will be taking part in a tournament against Somerset Academy South Homestead at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
