Volleyball Recap: Santee Comes Up Short

Santee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Niobrara/Verdigre Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Santee's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Niobrara/Verdigre, they moved to 8-14 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

Santee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 0-0 defeat against Walthill on the 16th. As for Niobrara/Verdigre, they will square off against Chambers/Wheeler Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
