Mendez has gone a perfect 9-0 against Belmont recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Jaguars will face off against the Sentinels at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mendez has three straight victories, Belmont has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

It was a proper cat-fight when Mendez took on Robert F. Kennedy Community last Monday. The Jaguars blew past the Bobcats 17-0. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by nine runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Belmont came up short against Bernstein on Thursday, falling 23-2.

Mendez's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Belmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Everything went Mendez's way against Belmont in their previous matchup back in April, as Mendez made off with a 15-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
