Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bay City walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Brazosport Exporters on Friday as they made off with a 5-1 win. Considering Bay City have won 15 games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bay City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-2-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those 16 contests. Brazosport's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12.

Looking ahead, Bay City will square off against Salado on Monday. Bay City will need to watch out since Salado has now posted at least four goals in their last 17 games. Brazosport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
