On Monday Harlinn Moriarty pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The effort marked the fewest hits Moriarty has had since back in February. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with less than two walks. On the year, she has an ERA of 3.50 over 6 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Moriarty and Mayfield will head out on the road to square off against Chadwick at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cubs are 9-1 against the Dolphins going back to March of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
