Softball Recap: Foundation Christian Academy Triumphs

Foundation Christian Academy posted their closest victory since April 9, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Bradenton Christian 5-4.

Abby Ronne was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Elsy Barron, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base.

The win got Foundation Christian Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Bradenton Christian, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Foundation Christian Academy will welcome Zephyrhills Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bradenton Christian, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Bradenton Christian Panthers duke it out with Inspiration Academy Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
