Basketball Recap: Rj Koopman Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Allegany-Limestone

Fredonia lost to Allegany-Limestone back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Fredonia Hillbillies came out on top against the Allegany-Limestone Gators by a score of 53-40.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fredonia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rj Koopman, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 15 points. Colin Luce was another key player, going 7-for-13 en route to 16 points.

Fredonia now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Allegany-Limestone, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Fredonia will head out to square off against Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Allegany-Limestone, they will square off against Holland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Holland has five straight victories, Allegany-Limestone has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
