Sedgwick County extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Abigail Dille. The Sedgwick County Cougars took down the Briggsdale Falcons 52-36 on Saturday thanks in part to Dille, who went 6 for 12 en route to 15 points and seven rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last five games she's played.

Lainee Nein was another key player, putting up six points in addition to seven boards and four blocks. That's the most blocks she has posted since back in March of 2024.

Briggsdale lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Claire Brown, who put up 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayl Klem, who scored six points along with 13 rebounds and seven steals.

Sedgwick County pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points over those games. As for Briggsdale, their loss dropped their record down to 11-3.

Sedgwick County has already played their next match (against Loveland Classical), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Briggsdale, they have already played their next game, a 53-27 victory against Elbert on the 10th.
