Rylan Young posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Northeastern back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Young has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.
