Baseball Game Preview: Northwest Indians vs. Orrville Red Riders

For the second straight game, Northwest will face off against Orrville. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Red Riders at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northwest's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Orrville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Northwest came out on top against Orrville on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Indians blew past the Red Riders 7-1. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by six runs or more this season.

Sean Ritchey and Zander Roncaglione did most of the damage at the plate: Ritchey went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI, while Roncaglione earned one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases. That RBI was Roncaglione's first of the season. Branded Miller was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Orrville has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Northwest, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
