Football Recap: Welch Takes a Loss

Welch was the 48-0 winner over Oaks-Mission when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats had to suffer through a 60-14 loss at the hands of the Warriors. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-8.

Joseph Clinton threw for 128 yards on 15 of 32 attempts. Colton Moss was his top target, picking up 70 receiving yards.

Welch's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Oaks-Mission, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Welch wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 62-6 loss against Medford on the 23rd. As for Oaks-Mission, they will challenge Billings at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
