Soccer Recap: Arcadia's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Arcadia's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Flagstaff Eagles. The victory was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Christian Cotto and Jacob Arria scored all three of Arcadia's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Arcadia's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Flagstaff, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Arcadia will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Paradise Honors at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Flagstaff, they will head out to face off against Saguaro at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Saguaro is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.
