The Baptist Prep Eagles got the win against the Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks on Tuesday by a conclusive 11-5. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Baptist Prep's win bumped their record up to 11-4-1. As for Mt. Vernon-Enola, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Baptist Prep will venture away from home to face off against Pulaski Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bruins will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mt. Vernon-Enola, they will host Atkins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
