Preview: Bethesda Christian Patriots vs. University Trailblazers
Bethesda Christian is 2-8 against University since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bethesda Christian Patriots will be playing at home against the University Trailblazers at 6:00 p.m. Bethesda Christian will be strutting in after a victory while University will be coming in after a loss.
Bethesda Christian posted their biggest win since November 14, 2023 on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 60-20 win over Indianapolis Washington at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-12.
It was another big night for Kenzie Fulks, who scored 19 points along with nine assists and eight steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Goodin, who scored 19 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, University was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 44-40 to Bethesda Christian.
Bethesda Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for University, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
Bethesda Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their match against University in their previous matchup on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 44-40 victory.
