Baseball Recap: Lanier Comes Up Short

Lanier fell victim to Seguin and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 18-0 to the Matadors. The Voks just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Lanier's loss dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Seguin, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5-1.

Coincidentally, Lanier and Seguin will both be playing Jefferson the next time they take the field. The Matadors will host the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Voks will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 8th.
