Volleyball Recap: John J. Duggan Academy Takes a Loss

John J. Duggan Academy came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Granby Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Granby this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 5th.

While John J. Duggan Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Granby work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11, 28-26.

John J. Duggan Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Granby, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. John J. Duggan Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Hampden Charter School of Science at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Granby will face off against rival Athol at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
