Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crest). Everything went their way against the Forestview Jaguars on Tuesday as the Crest Chargers made off with a 69-46 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Chargers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Crest can attribute much of their success to Nautica Freeman, who posted 21 points. The dominant performance gave Freeman a new career-high in points. Nevaeh Thomas was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Despite the loss, Forestview saw an underclassman step up: freshman Sa'Ryah McCorkle dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. That was a full 34.8% of Forestview's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Miangel Thompson, who had nine points and four steals.

The win got Crest back to even at 8-8. As for Forestview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Crest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-45 victory against Burns on the 29th. Forestview has also already played their next matchup, a 92-56 defeat against Stuart W. Cramer on the 29th.
