Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hilliard to victory, but perhaps none more so than CJ Hall, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Hall is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 20 or more in the last three games he's played. Malcom Warthen was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.

Hilliard's victory bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Newberry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.
