Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lyon County). They claimed a resounding 107-65 victory over the Dawson Springs Panthers. The Lyons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Dawson Springs still got an impressive performance from Rex Blue, who shot 6-for-11 from deep and dropped a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Blue has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last six times he's played. Easton Bourland was another key player, going 7 for 11 on his way to 14 points.

Lyon County's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 86.6 points over those games. As for Dawson Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-11.

Looking ahead, Lyon County will host Madisonville-North Hopkins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dawson Springs, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against McLean County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
