Cheney entered their tilt with Collegiate on Saturday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last eight times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Cheney not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Collegiate between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16.

Landry Voth paced Cheney's offense, picking up eight kills. Voth got some help from Carter Pipkin and her 14 assists. Voth was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Cheney's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Collegiate, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Cheney and Collegiate will both be playing Trinity Academy the next time they take the court. The Spartans will head out to face the Knights at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
