Softball Recap: Moravia Comes Up Short

Moravia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 12-3 to the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mohawks of the 13-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Moravia's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Rockets beat Moravia by a score of 10-0 later that day.
