Llano fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Ingram Moore on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Ingram Moore Warriors by a score of 26-23. The Yellowjackets' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sydney Kuykendall, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Priem, who put up seven points.

Llano's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 10-12. As for Ingram Moore, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
