Basketball Recap: East Davidson Comes Up Short

The matchup between East Davidson and North Rowan on Friday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The East Davidson Golden Eagles were dealt an 87-42 loss at the hands of the North Rowan Cavaliers. The Golden Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

East Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for North Rowan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

East Davidson and Robinson will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Robinson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully East Davidson likes a good challenge. As for North Rowan, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lincoln Charter at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lincoln Charter has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
