The Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans will square off against the Chestatee War Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Greater Atlanta Christian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
If Chestatee heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Greater Atlanta Christian took over last week. The Spartans took down Pickens 49-35 on Friday.

Michael Miller was his usual excellent self, rushing for 161 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.5 yards per carry, and also throwing for 325 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes. Those four passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zach Koons, who picked up 108 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Greater Atlanta Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off ten passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Roe Williams. Another thorn in Pickens' side was CJ Ohuabunwa, who made 15 total tackles.
Meanwhile, Chestatee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against White County, falling 35-14.
Greater Atlanta Christian will have to contain Benjamin Plemons as he made an impact in Chestatee's last game. He rushed for 128 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Plemons is becoming a predictor of Chestatee's success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-5 when he doesn't). The War Eagles also got a significant boost from Colton Steele, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 84 yards.
Greater Atlanta Christian pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.3 points over those games. As for Chestatee, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Greater Atlanta Christian has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 187.9 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Chestatee struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 227.4 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Greater Atlanta Christian couldn't quite get it done against Chestatee in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 as they fell 30-20. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Plemons, who rushed for 115 yards and two TDs, and also picked up 77 receiving yards and one score.
