Softball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Calvary Christian Academy was the 15-0 winner over King's Christian when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly four runs.

Leah Zweitzig made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Calvary Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-5-1. As for King's Christian, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Calvary Christian Academy will welcome Plumstead Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for King's Christian, they will square off against The Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
