Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Luke). They managed an 84-78 win over the King Vikings on Thursday. For the Storm, this counts as revenge for the 64-56 victory the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Leading St. Luke's to victory were Tyler Newsom and Ethan BienAime. Newsom dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 boards, while BienAime went 8 for 9 on his way to 21 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Newsom has become a key player for St. Luke's: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least eight boards, but 3-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Leneil Jones, Jr., who posted 13 points and three steals.

King's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aj Trimboli, who went 7 of 16 en route to 19 points, and Henry Simon, who went 7 for 8 on his way to 19 points. Simon also posted a block, marking his first of the season. Ryan Trimboli was another key player, putting up nine points.
