Soccer Game Preview: West Broward vs. Somerset Academy

The West Broward Bobcats will head out to square off against the Somerset Academy Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

West Broward is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Hollywood Hills on Monday.

West Broward hit the Spartans with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Chris Pla, Brenden Skilling, and Sebastian Quinto.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Somerset Academy was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor South Broward could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Somerset Academy's draw gives them a new season record of 0-2-1. As for West Broward, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

West Broward might still be hurting after the 9-1 loss they got from Somerset Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
