Volleyball Game Preview: Los Altos Eagles vs. Palo Alto Vikings + How To Watch

The Los Altos Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Palo Alto Vikings at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Los Altos sitting on seven straight wins and Palo Alto on five.

Los Altos won the last time they faced Homestead and Angela Deng did her part to make sure it happened again. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs on Tuesday with plenty of help from Deng, who had 24 assists and 23 digs. Deng is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 19 every time she's taken the court this season.

While Los Altos won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Palo Alto made easy work of Mercy on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Palo Alto never let Mercy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-23.

Los Altos' win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Palo Alto, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.

Los Altos beat Palo Alto 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
