Baseball Game Preview: Shadle Park Highlanders vs. Ridgeline Falcons

The Shadle Park Highlanders will head out to take on the Ridgeline Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shadle Park is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Shadle Park came up short against Mt. Spokane and fell 5-1. The game marked the Highlanders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Matthew Pugh made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ridgeline). Everything went their way against Central Valley on Monday as they made off with an 18-0 victory. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Ridgeline's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Shadle Park, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Shadle Park came out on top in a nail-biter against Ridgeline in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 4-3. Will the Highlanders repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
