Football Recap: Caddo Mills Foxes vs. Gainesville Leopards
Caddo Mills won against Sanger last Friday with 28 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Caddo Mills Foxes walked away with a 28-21 win over the Gainesville Leopards. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Foxes also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2021.
Holden Bremer was his usual excellent self, rushing for 78 yards and two touchdowns.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Caddo Mills' defense and their three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Harris Bethea.
Caddo Mills is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Gainesville, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Caddo Mills wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 29-23 defeat against Farmersville on the 18th. Gainesville has also already played their next game, a 48-11 loss against Van Alstyne on the 18th.
