Soccer Recap: Dunedin Comes Up Short

Dunedin lost to Calvary Christian back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons lost 9-1 to the Warriors. While losing is never fun, Dunedin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 321st, while Calvary Christian are ranked 117th).

Dunedin's goal came courtesy of Addison Jericho, who's now up to 15 this season.

Dunedin has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Calvary Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

Dunedin didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-1 victory against Largo on the 16th. As for Calvary Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Westminster Christian on the 16th.
