Basketball Recap: South Broward Comes Up Short

South Broward won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They were dealt a 66-22 defeat at the hands of the Coral Springs Colts. Having soared to a lofty 57 points in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

South Broward has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Coral Springs, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-5 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Broward will head out to square off against Boyd Anderson at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Boyd Anderson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.9 points per game this season. As for Coral Springs, they will head out on the road to face off against Northeast at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Coral Springs' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
