Softball Recap: Milaca Comes Up Short

Milaca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to the Pequot Lakes Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent defeat being a 17-2 loss on Tuesday.

Milaca's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Pequot Lakes, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pequot Lakes beat Milaca by a score of 17-2 later that day.
