Soccer Recap: Menasha Comes Up Short

If Menasha was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Green Bay West on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bluejays fell 3-1 to the Seymour Thunder on Thursday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Menasha couldn't quite close it out.

Menasha's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Seymour, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-1-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Menasha will challenge Shawano Community at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seymour, they will host Fox Valley Lutheran at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
