Volleyball Recap: Person Beats Southeast Alamance for Their Sixth Straight Win

Person waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Southeast Alamance Stallions.

One reason for the win was Person's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-14.

Peyton Hogan paced Person's offense, picking up 19 kills. Hogan got some help from Kaiden Hawkins and her 15 assists. Kylee Hayden controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Southeast Alamance's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophia Carney, who had seven digs and two assists.

Person's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Southeast Alamance, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.

Person has already played their next matchup (against Cummings), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Southeast Alamance, they will welcome Eastern Alamance at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
